One of my favorite questions to ask people is: “What is your favorite color?” I believe that the answer to this fun fact question can often give us a perceptive insight into somebody’s personality, and the things they consider important.
Do you also associate the color blue with serenity? Pink with love? Red with passion? I have always been deeply interested in color psychology. To think how all colors are interpreted by the mind differently and can actually impact our thoughts is a fascinating concept. I am also intrigued by how each culture has their own symbolism for different colors, and have often tried to find out more about this.
My favorite color is purple. This luxurious hue has long been associated with royalty and elegance. This is because only very wealthy people had access to purple dye in olden times. It has also been described as a mysterious and powerful color by people, and even assumed to be exotic.
