The Artist
Hi there! I am Niki, the artist behind Paper Sweetly.
The world is brimming with patterns — an innate structure in the most chaotic of environments. While the engineer in me is fascinated by these patterns, the artist is intrigued by how shapes and colors come together to create an intangible harmony of mood, meaning, and energy.
The ancient art of quilling allows me to translate what I see and interpret into tangible objects. I started creating paper jewelry in 2012. Soon, I was receiving commissions for custom-made pieces. In 2016, I took it up full-time, and Paper Sweetly was born.

What is Paper Sweetly Made Of?
Sustainable Recycled Paper
All Paper Sweetly art and jewelry are made with 40% recycled and acid-free paper. This means the color does not fade away nor does it stick to skin when worn.
Water-Resistant Sealant
We use clear acrylic sealant to provide extra sturdiness to the jewelry. The jewelry can withstand the daily wear including light sweat, moisture, splashes of water.
Hypo-Allergenic Hooks
We offer two types of earring hooks, either surgical steel or sterling silver. We chose to offer two types that are both the most allergy friendly and have excellent quality.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if my jewelry gets wet?
I use clear acrylic sealant to provide extra sturdiness to the jewelry. The jewelry can withstand the daily wear including light sweat, moisture, splashes of water but is not 100% water-proof so please don’t go swimming or into the shower with them! If the product does gets in contact with water, wipe it with a paper napkin, allow it to dry with natural air and it will return to the original condition! As with all precious jewelry, careful storage of your paper jewelry is also advised.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, we gladly accept returns and exchanges within 4 days of delivery. Hence, we request you to try on your pieces as soon as you receive your shipment.
To initiate a return, please contact us through the contact form. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please ensure the product is unused and in its original packaging. We do not accept returns/exchanges of custom jewelry.
Can you make custom orders?
Yes! If you have a design/idea that is not featured on my store, I would be more than happy to work with you to make custom jewelry. Or if you are looking for a one of a kind piece we can work together to design what you are looking for.
In addition, if you like any of my designs but would prefer a different size or a different color combination, please feel free to message me.
